Welcome to Sterns Creek FarmLocated on the historic Acquibob Horse Farm, Sterns Creek Farm is being created as a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience the natural rhythms of the land.As we begin building, we are also listening.We are building this farm for the Churchland and Western Branch area, with Harbor View and nearby communities in mind. As we grow, offerings may include you-pick produce and cut flowers, seedling starts for home gardens, space for dogs to run, gardening classes, and small seasonal gatherings.Your input will help shape how Sterns Creek Farm grows and what it offers to the community.
About
Acquibob Farm is a family-owned working farm located in Chesapeake, Virginia, established in 1942. The farm originated as a cattle ranch by the Saunders Family. Acquibob has been in the same family for three generations and over the years has turned from cattle to Arabian horses and now they have a wide variety of horses, cows, chickens and more.Horses are still here, but the younger generation is more interested in what the fields can grow for our community.Jeff was born and raised in Western Branch and grew up being loved on by the Saunders/Hill family at Acquibob. Jenny moved to the region in 2016, met Jeff in 2021, and they got married in 2023. Jeff brought Jenny to the farm, and she fell in love with the family and open space. She's the "crazy" one who thinks other women, and men, need access to green spaces, fresh produce they picked, and opportunities to feel connected to their neighbors.Will you join them in dreaming of what you think the community needs from the Farm?
